I <3 posix based operating systems :-D Playing a game on my phone when it locked up. Music and sound effects still playing, but the UI was frozen. The solution? Same as when something goes fubar under linux ;-)Step 1: Can I get a shell with adb? Yes! Good, the rest of the OS is running ok, just no input in the app.
Step 2: What's the app's PID? ps | grep colossatron: Yep, there it is: 30045 com.halfbrick.colossatron.
Step 3: kill 30045
Step 4: ...
Step 5: Profit!
Ok, so step 4 was actually watching the OS crash and do a soft-reboot, and step 5 was "relaunch game", but you get the idea. ;-) Had this been Windows, I /might/ have been able to pull up the task manager, but if not I'd be left the unsavory avenue of pulling power.
